Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel, opened on the 14th July 2009 offers 355 berths for yachts up to 30m LOA. Equipped with the latest technology, the marina has strived since the beginning to become one of Spanish Mediterranean’s most prestigious marinas. In both 2010 and 2011, the marina was awarded the internationally-recognised Blue Flag for reaching the environmental association’s required levels of safety, accessibility, emergency response infrastructure, legal compliance and the provision of environmental information to berth-holders and visitors. Last year, Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel was one of only two marinas in the country to receive a distinction for their level of accessibility for disabled visitors. The marina has placed host to a number of national and International competitions including the Spanish Aquathlon Championship, the Spanish 420 Nationals and a number of regattas.
