More than a Network: A Commitment to a Better Boating Future

TransEurope Marinas is evolving. While our popular reciprocal berthing discount remains a core benefit for boaters, our mission now extends to shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future for the wider marine community.

• A Sustainable Marine Environment: TransEurope Marinas members actively contribute to the ICOMIA Sustainability and Smart Marinas Committee, and support vital ocean science and resilience projects via a range of initiatives, with projects such as LandSeaLot  and the JPI Oceans European Marinas Network. This work helps to develop a better understanding of the very environments we all love to explore, while helping to empower coastal communities to contribute to ocean science.
• An Inclusive Boating Community: TransEurope Marinas currently chairs the ICOMIA Diversity Committee, championing efforts to make boating and marinas more accessible and welcoming to all – not only as a pastime but as a rewarding career.
• Fostering Development: We invest in the expertise of our network. To facilitate skils development, improve confidence and improve professional standards, we offer training bursaries to our marina members to support the continuing education and development of their teams.
• A Stronger Industry: Through our collaboration with leading organisations like the European Boating Industry (EBI) and ICOMIA, we represent the collective voice of our members. This helps to shape policies, set high standards, and advocate for the interests of independent marinas on a global stage.
