Jachthaven Waterland is the largest full service marina on the inland IJsselmeer/Markermeer. This former tidal estuary, closed off by dams since decades is the most popular cruising area in The Netherlands. We are in Monnickendam, a historical town, just 10km north of Amsterdam. Needless to say that accessibility is excellent, by car, public transport and even Schiphol Airport is only 35km away.
Did you know that our marina is the ideal location to combine your cruising trip with a city trip to Amsterdam? Waterland is has three locations: Monnickendam (marina and yacht service), Volendam (yacht service) and Uitdam (marina).
We renovated and improved the marina with a new toilet building, boat lift and jetties in winter 25/26. We have berths in sizes 8-15m (fixed and floating) with electricity available. We’re a family business (est. 1985) and employ 17 people. Should you come across any technical issue whilst on holiday, be assured that our service team will get you en route quickly.
