On the French Côte d’Opale, Boulogne sur Mer is an ideal stop-over between Dunkirk and St-Valéry sur Somme, offering good facilities in the heart of the town. It is the closest continental marina to the UK and popular for transient boaters from Belgium and the Netherlands. The town features and attractive historic quarter with a medieval castle and 1.5km of old city walls, a gothic church and cathedral basilica.

Boulogne sur Mer is also home to Nausicaä – The French National Sea Centre and largest public aquarium in Europe, a rich and immersive celebration of marine life, exploring our human relationship with the oceans and the importance of conservation.

This 590-berth marina comprises three basins, one outer area with 109 berths, accessible 24/7, where 70 spaces are reserved for visitors, and two further areas, each accessed via a lock.

Visitors are welcome to use their marina card to benefit from selected discounts applicable in restaurants, shops, car and bike rental, water-sports activities, Nausicaa (aquarium), chandleries and hotel accommodation in the town.
