On the French Côte d’Opale, Boulogne sur Mer is an ideal stop-over between Dunkirk and St-Valéry sur Somme, offering good facilities in the heart of the town. It is the closest continental marina to the UK and popular for transient boaters from Belgium and the Netherlands. The town features and attractive historic quarter with a medieval castle and 1.5km of old city walls, a gothic church and cathedral basilica.
