The harbour also provides an ideally located departure point for Isle of Man, Ireland, Scotland, Clyde and Hebridean cruising.

Whitehaven Marina lock gate
The tidally controlled marina offers near-24-hour access to the 225 berths spread over two basins. The marina berths have access to power and water, with a diesel fuel berth, toilets and showers and car parking all within easy reach.
The marina and/or lock gate staff are on hand 24 hours a day and the marina is closely monitored by 24 hour CCTV.
The marina can lift and relaunch vessels up to 5m in width and 45 tonnes in weight, with hard standing also available for those who need it.
