Jachthaven Wetterwille

Jachthaven Wetterwille is an inland marina in the authentic Dutch village of Oud-Loosdrecht, province of North Holland. The village and marina are located at the edge of the Loosdrechtse Plassen or Loosdrecht Lakes. These five scenic lakes are connected to the river Vecht via a lock. The beautiful area is part of the so-called Green Heart of Holland and forms the perfect gateway to the inland waterways of Western Europe.

The marina
The marina has 370 berths for boats up to 20 m. Staff are present and at the service of our berth holders 7/7. The marina provides full boat service. We have a transporter, two- and four-ton cranes and a twenty-ton boat lift. Summer storage is provided in the water, ashore and in dry-stack; winter storage in the water, ashore and indoors, in either a heated or unheated hangar.

The marina site is secured by barriers and CCTV. There is ample parking space and berth holders park for free. Lavatories and showers are kept in perfect condition.

The area
The Loosdrechtse Plassen are famous for their natural beauty and water sports facilities: sailing, swimming, paddleboarding, sunbathing, waterskiing, jetskiing and more. It is therefore no coincidence that we named our marina Wetterwille, which is Frisian for water fun!

Via the river Vecht, Amsterdam and Utrecht lie within just a few hours of cruising. The cities can also be reached by car and public transportation. Loosdrecht itself and the surrounding villages boast many tranquil trails for walking and biking in natural surroundings. History and arts enthusiasts can visit Castle Sypesteyn. Holland’s youngest castle is now a museum with a beautiful garden and an impressive collection of rare Loosdrecht porcelain.

Facilities & Awards
There are two restaurants in the marina, one located on the waterfront. With an Airbnb, launderette, gym and free bike use for visitors, we make sure our customers’ every need is met. For those looking to rent a boat, our fleet includes sailboats, electric sloops and a lounge pontoon suitable for wheelchairs. We care greatly about the environment at Jachthaven Wetterwille, as the marina has been awarded the Blue Flag, Green Pennant and Clean Marina Award.

We are an active member of TYHA and have received the prestigious award of Five Gold Anchors. We do everything we can to let our visitors enjoy their water fun to the fullest.
