This modern marina in deep water is accessible 24 hours a day at all states of the tide. No lock gates or sill to negotiate! The harbour entrance faces south east and is protected from the prevailing winds, it is 80 meters wide and dredged to 4.5 meters under LAT. The marina is protected by two main breakwaters. One in the south and the other north-east. Opened in 1990, Saint-Quay Port d’Armor continues its programme of improvements and modernisation. The northern part of the harbour is dedicated to the fishing fleet.
Numerous cruising or day sailing opportunities are possible from St Quay. A few minutes away are the Isles of St Quay, ideal for a picnic or fishing, they spread over a few miles into the bay of St Brieuc, which is sheltered from the predominant winds and is the ideal location for numerous regattas all year round.
St Quay-Port d’Armor is the ideal site for organizing departure and arrival of offshore races, like the singlehanded Figaro race, Tour de France a la voile and many other national and international yachting and match racing events. St Quay is also the home of numerous exploration vessels and offshore racing yachts, and can organize events afloat or ashore.
The marina Managing Director and all the staff remain at your disposal to meet your requirements, and wish you a pleasant stay in St Quay Port d’Armor. Our English marina Officer, Trevor Tomlin, will be pleased to care especially about our british visitors.
