Venezia Certosa Marina is located on Certosa Island, in an area of natural park, only 15 minutes away from St. Mark’s Square and 45 minutes from the train station and Marco Polo International Airport. The public boat service ACTV and ALILAGUNA runs every 20 minutes to the city centre until midnight, continued by a free shuttle service from midnight.
The marina has 320 berths for crafts up to 60m and depths ranging from 3.5m to 6m, 24/7 assistance and surveillance, bathrooms and laundry. Water and electricity are supplied separately, via an electronic accountancy system.
The dockyard offers indoor and outdoor storage for crafts up to 22t; providing all sorts of maintenance work and repairs including carpentry, rigging, engines, electrical systems, air-conditioning etc. During summer sailing courses are organised for children and boat license courses take place throughout the year.
The island is complete with Il Certosino Restaurant and Bar and the Venice Certosa Hotel; a very comfortable 3-star hotel with 18 rooms, both single and double.
The WiFi connection is provided by Venice Connected and available for free with the “Venezia Unica” card.
The Island plays host to numerous activities and events throughout the year, both private and public (many related to the world-renowned Biennale D’Arte e Architettura).
